MARCELLI ANTICIPATING ROAD AMERICA

Barrie, Ontario (July 30th 2008) – Canadian race car driver Kyle Marcelli leaves today for rounds 9 & 10 of the US F2000 Championship Series held in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin at the legendary Road America race course.

Marcelli arrived home Monday morning from Ottawa where he was driver coaching fellow BGR driver Conor Daly during his Formula Ford race at Calabogie Motorsports Park. In recent weeks Kyle has continued to hone his skills with both his marketing/sponsorship efforts, fitness and continued driver coaching.

Marcelli is now prepping himself for his own duties which begin Thursday morning with fours hours of open testing on the 4.5 mile race track.

“If there was one race on the schedule that I was looking forward to most, Road America would definitely be the one! I have never driven the course but in 2004 I was there racing the go-kart track as part of the stars of karting national series. It was during the ALMS weekend and I was wowed. I am really excited for the event. ” says Marcelli.

Marcelli would like to thank his sponsors Terry Durkee of Terry Durkee Plumbing Lafarge, Barrie Trim and Mouldings, GP Masonry and Landscaping Supplies, Trudel Roofing, PFAFF, Alpinestars, The Robert Simpson Brewery, Brown Windows, MG Homes, Mullins Pub, MMG Trading, Simcoe Building Center, RE/MAX Barrie, Stif Creative Works and Canadian Tire Barrie South
